Revitalizing School Libraries

On Jan 27, 2024, three NSB members, Emily, Wendy and Elise participated the full-day library renovation event at Robert Kennedy Elementary school. 

R. Kennedy Elementary is located in a low-income area in east San Jose; kids over there don't have much opportunity to get new books from their families, In the school's library room, volunteers refilled the book shelves with new books they got from donation; painted murals inside and outside the library room; and renovated the outdoor little free library box.

Out of the love for the little kids at low-income areas, we are so proud for our contributions to the refreshed library.
